HighBall Halloween starts off the Halloween season, but there’s still plenty of time to enjoy a few spooky traditions this weekend. If you’re in need of some Halloween inspiration, TORSO owner Scott Rousku has got some great ideas.

The Halloween season is a big deal for clothing and accessories retailer TORSO, and Scott Rousku has filled the boutique with a wonderful selection costumes and more to help celebrate the holiday. “Steampunk and variations of it are still a big trend,” said Rousku. He adds, “corsets for men and for women, wearable tech, and more. Our animal head masks whose mouths actually move when you speak are a big hit.”

torsoReinventing old trends, mixing pop gossip and the fun of fashion, TORSO continues to be a bold stand out on High Street’s clothing scene. Most known for their cheeky undergarments, statement tops, and denim for the late night crowd, serving up a couple curve-ball looks for a Halloween bash is definitely in TORSO’s wheelhouse.

Rousku adds with a point of pride that “we go above and beyond what you could ever find in any big box store. It’s important to us that we maintain pieces in here that are as special and unique as our customers.”

With Halloween around the corner, TORSO is definitely a spot that should be on your list. Be sure to check out their Victorian masks, a particular point of pride for the store.

Looking ahead, the boutique is planning for another whirlwind of big moments to stay busy. “One of our favorite’s is Holiday Hop – the lights, the food, the windows, it’s definitely one of the public’s traditions for Christmas time now, and we love it. Pride of course is what we look for on our calendars. The city should be proud of what it’s created here for the community and we are so happy to be a part of it. We also celebrate our 19th anniversary here in the Short North during Pride, and look forward to many more!”
