Behind The Curtain at Short North Stage

6:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Categories

Experience the historic theater Short North Stage where the legendary silent film actress Louise Brooks once performed. Start the evening with cocktails and a delightful array of amuse-bouche style foods provided by boutique catering company Bleu & Fig. A guide will take you on a tour and share the history of the venue, including stories of famous actors, ghostly tales, and hidden treasures living within the walls.

Then, take your VIP seats to enjoy the Tennessee Williams play “The Glass Menagerie.” This towering classic set in the Great Depression catapulted Tennessee Williams to fame. “The Glass Menagerie” is told by a prodigal son haunted by memories of his domineering mother, a faded southern belle, and his invalid sister, whose fragile world is defined by her collection of glass animals. The performance will be followed by a discussion with the director and actors.
