Get a glimpse into how Bunyaad rugs are made at the Loom to Living Room free presentation on Thursday, March 8th at 7pm at Global Gifts, located at 682 N. High St. in the Short North Arts District in Columbus. Please RSVP by calling 614-621-1744.

The Bunyaad organization, formed in the late 1960s, has been committed to transcending differences by intentionally working with artisans of different faiths and backgrounds. Today, the Bunyaad rug artisan group includes over 850 families in over 100 villages throughout Pakistan.

All artisans are paid a fair wage and guaranteed safe and humane working conditions.

Bunyaad Fair Trade rugs are designed, knotted, and finished by artisans in Pakistan.  The rugs are available in sizes ranging from in sizes from 2’x3′ to 10’x14′ and runners and in styles from Classic to Contemporary, including some rugs made with natural dyes.
