Discover the Fair Trade difference in home decor! Global Gifts, in the Short North Arts District, is hosting a Fair Trade Rug Event from March 7-11 featuring over 200 Oriental rugs in a variety of styles and sizes that have been hand-knotted and woven by adult artisans in Pakistan. Representatives from the Bunyaad organization will be in-store during the event to show the rugs and share the story behind these heirloom quality rugs and the talented artisans who created them and who are fairly paid and work in safe and ethical conditions. Find out how Bunyaad rugs emerge from “Loom to Living Room” during a free special presentation on Thursday, March 8th at 7pm at Global Gifts (682 N.
