Glean opened in July 2013, and is the first store of its kind in Ohio that sells handmade, mostly local goods for home, body, and life that are made from reclaimed and repurposed materials. Glean predominately features local artisans, who reinvent jewelry, clothing, art, candles and much more, in an imaginative and up-cycled way.
The owner makes the bath and body products, mainly from plants that she grows organically in her garden in the Short North. Additionally, Glean has been featured in The Columbus Dispatch, Columbus Monthly, Capital Style and Ohio Magazine as a local and state treasure. Go and see what all of the fuss is about.
