Cindi Foley CMAThis holiday season, a few Columbus insiders are sharing their favorite wish list items from shops in the Short North Arts District. Cindy Foley, Executive Assistant Director of the Columbus Museum of Art, took at day to explore the Short North Arts District and give you her picks of the season.

Aesthetics and experience matter. I am completely romanced by outdoor shopping, with the Short North Arts District decorations, the music playing, the delicious smells wafting out from the restaurants, and the charming shop windows. The Short North Arts District is authentic. It feels like Columbus. It makes shopping feel like an event rather than a task. It is inevitable that I find something I love for myself when I’m shopping for others, with the diversity and range of merchandise – so big and so fun!

Two of my biggest favorites though would be to see Us is Them at the Pizutti Collection, followed by pumpkin cookies at Short North Piece of Cake. Both are delectable!

After I finished my cookies (all of them), I found these gems in the District. Snatch them up before they’re gone!
