Short North Employee Late Night Discount Parking & Shuttle Program

For employee safety, we keep some details secure. Click here for more detailed information, check with your employer, or email shuttle@shortnorth.org for the password.

What is it?

Beginning January 2019, the Short North Employee Late Night Discount Parking & Shuttle Program started as a free service option to transport workers safely from the Short North Arts District to two local garages offering deeply discounted, daily parking. Here’s how it works:

  • From 3:00pm – 6:00am, Monday through Saturday, Short North Arts District employees can park at one of two garages for $3.00 per night.
  • Employees can walk, scoot, bike ride the COTA Bus or CBUS, which is a free circulator bus run by the Central Ohio Transit Authority (COTA), to get to their place of employment in the Short North Arts District.
  • The Short North Employee Late Night Shuttle is a hybrid of on-demand Yellow Cab taxis and a shuttle service for employees to return to their cars between the hours of 10:00pm – 3:00am. There is no cost to employees for this service; the only cost is the $3.00 you pay to leave the garage.

TRY-A-RIDE: Have you been parking farther away from work? For two weeks only, take a Yellow Cab back to wherever you need to go! The Try-A-Ride will take you to where you parked if it is within 1 mile of the Short North. The Try-A-Ride program will only be available from Monday, May 6 to Sunday, May 19, 2019.

*NOTE: The continuation of this pilot program for employees is largely dependent on participation, so don’t miss out on the opportunity to have FREE transportation back to your vehicle.

If you are interested in this service, please talk to your employer or email shuttle@shortnorth.org.
