March 28, 2012
Celebrate the flavor, community and style of the Short North Arts District as we host the 6th Annual Short North Gala at the Greek Orthodox Cathedral on Sunday, April 29th from 6-10pm. The Gala is a highly experiential affair that immerses guests in the mosaic and spirit of the Arts District.
The evening begins with cocktails, hors d'oeuvres and entertainment in the Greek Orthodox Cathedral’s garden courtyard. In addition to hors d'oeuvres, Short North bars, taverns and spirit district businesses will feature their specialty cocktails. Following cocktails, the celebration transitions to the Cathedral’s ballroom where PageTech Ltd., IM Creative, Short North galleries & home décor businesses reshape the space with light, sound, projection, decor and art. The evening shifts into high gear as acclaimed chefs take the spotlight to create a one-night-only, culinary taste of Short North restaurants by offering small plates of their favorite dish.***
In addition to a celebration of Short North flavor, the SNBA will recognize the 2012 Unsung Heroes: individuals who enrich the quality of life in the Short North and Columbus through their volunteer efforts and contributions behind the scenes to advance art, community, diversity and the Short North spirit.
