About the event Join us on September 6 at Hashtag Comedy (1253 N High St) from 5:00pm-6:15pm for a one-of-a-kind evening that blends comedy, cuisine, and culture. It’ll all be captured in a LIVE RECORDING like your favorite podcast, but tastier. We’ll begin the evening with comedy then interview the chef, all while attendees enjoy a hand-held bite.
This unique event features Chef Lorenzo Tavani (@lorenzo__cooks)! He’ll bring his signature wild, seasonal, and deeply local style to the Spice Up table. A forager, chef, and flavor alchemist, Lorenzo cooks up unfrogettable dishes. For this event, he’s crafting Wild Plant Tacos featuring foraged greens, Ohio Till Farmstead black beans, tomato, pickled garlic scapes straight from his garden, cilantro stems, and a fresh nixtamal tortilla made with Ohio corn. You won’t want to miss it!
This official Columbus Comedy Festival production will provide a unique blend of storytelling through live stand-up from comedians and a chef interview spotlighting local culinary talent.
