JOB OPENING – Bartender at VooDoo Brewing Co.

Role Overview

The Bartender is an educator and a multi-tasker. They must be able to describe complex flavor profiles to a novice while simultaneously “shaking tins” for cocktails and pouring a perfect flight.

Key Responsibilities

• The “Perfect Pour”: Mastery of the draft faucet—minimizing waste while ensuring every beer looks photo-ready.
• Guest Education: Guiding guests through the tap list, offering samples, and explaining the brewing process.
• Service Bar Efficiency: Pumping out drink orders for the servers while maintaining a high level of engagement with guests sitting at the bar.
• Safety: Vigilant “TIPS” or “ServSafe” alcohol monitoring to ensure guests are enjoying themselves responsibly.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in a craft-centric bar.
• Personable, high-energy, and able to talk about beer for 8 hours straight.
• Ability to lift kegs (with help) and stand for long durations.
