JOB OPENING – LifeCare Alliance: Intake Specialist

This position is responsible for supporting the intake, screening, and enrollment process for home-delivered meals and nutrition programs. This role serves as a primary point of contact for clients, caregivers, case managers, and referral partners to ensure timely, accurate, and compassionate completion of intake and assessment activities.

The Intake Specialist will independently manage a high volume of referrals received through phone, online intake forms, email, and external referral systems. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to navigate multiple funding sources, eligibility requirements, and referral portals. The Intake Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring eligible clients are enrolled efficiently while providing respectful and supportive communication to individuals who may not meet program criteria.

This position requires an understanding of older adults and handicapped individuals. A positive and cooperative image and attitude is crucial for this position. Work performed is under the general supervision of the Intake and Assessment Manager.
