About: JOB OPENING – Store Manager at Gallerie

The Opportunity

We’re looking for a Gallerie Store Manager who is equal parts retail operator, mentor, and leader. You’ll oversee day-to-day store performance while actively shaping the next generation of retail talent through on-the-floor teaching, coaching, and leadership.

What You’ll Do

Lead the Store

  • Own daily store operations, staffing, scheduling, and floor leadership
  • Drive sales, customer engagement, and traffic through excellent service and smart execution
  • Track and act on KPIs related to sales performance, inventory, brand success, and customer experience
  • Maintain visual standards, store organization, cleanliness, and brand presentation
  • Develop needed store policies and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, cash handling, safety, and loss prevention

Develop Retail Talent (Ready to Werk)

  • Serve as a hands-on educator and mentor for Ready to Werk participants during scheduled shifts
  • Implement and support lesson plans aligned with the National Retail Federation Business of Retail credential
  • Partner with the Ready to Werk Program Coordinator to reinforce leadership, operations, and customer service skills in real time
  • Model professionalism, inclusivity, and strong retail leadership on the floor

Support Brands & the Marketplace

  • Oversee all in-store brands, ensuring alignment with merchandising and visual standards
  • Monitor inventory, stock levels, and brand compliance with contracts and guidelines
  • Communicate regularly with brands on performance, merchandising needs, and improvement opportunities
  • Stay current on fashion and retail trends to support brand development and customer engagement

Grow the Business

  • Plan and execute promotions and marketing initiatives to drive foot traffic and sales
  • Build meaningful customer relationships by understanding preferences and shopping behaviors
  • Prepare regular performance reports for CFA leadership and brand partners, offering insights and recommendations

 

Who You Are
A proven retail leader with experience managing people, inventory, and store performance
A strong communicator who enjoys coaching, teaching, and developing others
Comfortable balancing operational excellence with a mission-driven environment
Organized, adaptable, and energized by a fast-paced, community-centered retail space
Available to work evenings and weekends as needed

 

Preferred (But Not Required)
Experience in fashion retail or multi-brand environments
Visual merchandising and store layout expertise
Familiarity with retail credentialing or workforce development programs
