About: Little Sky Stone – Lead Retail Sales Associate

The Store Lead owns day-to-day store operations, people leadership, and customer experience. This role attends and oversees store hours, manages events and private parties, runs store errands (snacks, drinks, supplies), and tracks inventory and supplies. Key Responsibilities

1) Coverage & Daily Operations
· Ensure full coverage for open hours, lunches, breaks, and peak times; arrange call-ins and swaps when needed.
· Own daily opening/closing routines
· Maintain store environment: cleanliness, music, scent, lighting, fitting/jewelry try-on stations, safety checks.

2) Customer Experience & Sales Leadership
· Lead by example on the floor—greet customers, uncover needs, style looks, and close sales.
· Coach associates on add-ons and cross-selling
· Resolve escalations with empathy; turn issues into loyalty opportunities.
· Maintain service standards: wait time, clienteling, appointment flow, and post-visit follow-up.

3) Events, Parties & Experiences
· Execute in-store events, pop-ups, and private parties (permanent jewelry & charm bar).
· Manage event calendars, RSVPs, staffing, setup/tear-down, and post-event recaps.
· Coordinate refreshments (snacks, drinks), supplies, music/ambience, and content capture for marketing.

4) Inventory & Supplies
· Maintain visual standards: featured tables, signage, pricing tags, safe & secure displays.
· Receive, tag, and process new merchandise; ensure accurate counts and timely floor placement.
· Monitor low-stock SKUs and supplies (jewelry components, welding/perm-j tools, packaging, cleaning kits, snacks/drinks); submit weekly restock requests to management.

 

Qualifications

· 2+ years of retail leadership (fashion/jewelry preferred)
· Proven strength in scheduling, floor leadership, and coaching a small team.
· Comfortable with POS systems, cash handling, basic Excel/Sheets, and inventory workflows.
· Strong merchandising eye and attention to detail.
· Event coordination experience a plus (private parties, pop-ups, workshops).
· Calm under pressure; excellent judgment with customer escalations.
· Able to run errands (valid driver’s license preferred) and occasionally travel for local pop-ups.

Schedule & Work Environment

Full-time, on-site; weekend and evening availability required based on events and traffic.
Typical schedule includes at least one closing shift and both weekday/weekend coverage.
Extended hours during peak periods and events.


Tools & Systems

POS and payment terminals; appointment/event booking tools.
Google Workspace (Drive, Sheets, Docs), messaging apps, basic task management.
