Studios on High Gallery will feature work by Ben Sostrom who explores the Buddhist concept of non-duality through a juxtaposition of visible and suggested forms. Using paper and wood, the artist employs a variety of techniques (hand-joinery, steam bending, carving, and laser cutting) to create pieces that embody personal experiences, told through the lens of Buddhist symbology and folklore. beingnonbeing can be viewed at Studios on High Gallery February 2 through February 28, with the artist in attendance for February’s Gallery Hop.
