Director Kelly Reichardt joins us for the Ohio premiere of Certain Women—one of the most praised films at this year’s Sundance Film Festival and among her most moving and refined works yet. Based on three short stories by Maile Meloy, Certain Women follows the small but resonant dramas in the lives of several Montana women: a weary lawyer, a nesting mother, and an awkward ranch hand. Revealing the deep emotions that reside in the midst of everyday moments, this is quiet, empathetic filmmaking at its very finest. The film also features Reichardt’s most illustrious cast yet, with beautiful performances by Laura Dern, Kristen Stewart, Michelle Williams, Lily Gladstone, James Le Gros, Jared Harris, and René Auberjonois.
