Provocative and prolific German director Rainer Werner Fassbinder stars (!) in Kamikaze ’89, a cyberpunk film noir about a detective investigating a bomb threat against a shady media corporation. Nearly impossible to see for years, the film features a score by Tangerine Dream’s Edgar Froese. (106 mins., DCP)
