6:00 pm - 8:30 pm

pride art exhibit

King Avenue United Methodist Church is in for a special visual treat in the church gallery throughout June. Student members of the Queer Alliance at Columbus College of Art and Design will have work on display dealing with the theme “Pride.” This active group at CCAD is advised by our member, Felicia DeRosa. There will be a wide variety of media from photography, painting to animation and video.

There will be a gallery reception on June 17, 2016 at 6:00pm which is an hour prior to the Pride Worship Service being held at King Avenue Church. The gallery will remain open that night after the service. Plan to stop by and talk to the budding artists about their work.

This gallery exhibit is open through June 26, and the gallery is open on Sunday mornings. Worship is at 9:00am (informal) and 11:00am (traditional). All are welcome! Visit our website at for more information about the mission and ministries of King Avenue UMC and our SPECTRUM LGBTQ Fellowship.
