The mother of all thrillers (get it?), Alfred Hitchcock’s Psycho made “Norman Bates” a household name, broke new ground in its depiction of screen violence and suggestion of sex, and inspired thousands to lock the bathroom door while taking a shower. Starring Anthony Perkins, Janet Leigh, and Vera Miles. (109 mins., 35mm)

All Wex Drive-In movies start at dusk (generally around 9 PM), but you’re invited to come at 8 PM to choose your spot. Pack up a few blankets or lawn chairs, and get ready to enjoy beer from Seventh Son Brewing, pizza from Mikey’s Late Night Slice, and Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams. Members, visit the Wex membership table for your free scoop and other perks. In the event of rain, the films will screen in Mershon Auditorium at 9 PM.

Make it an evening of suspenseful terror—The Babadook screens at 7 PM in the Film/Video Theater. Stop Heirloom Café beforehand (open til 8 PM) to prepare yourself with a hearty beverage, snack, meal.
