About the event To celebrate the completion of “She Moves with Color”, the Short North Alliance and the Greater Columbus Arts Council will host a public dedication and event entitled Public Art is Calling on Tuesday, June 24, at the Moxy Hotel.

The event will begin with a community gathering at 4 pm, followed by a panel discussion on how both sanctioned and unsanctioned public art works call us to engage in our communities that will be moderated by GCAC President and CEO Mitch Menchaca and feature public artists from the Short North from approximately 4-7 pm, with time for continued engagement and a public dedication of “She Moves with Color” afterward.

This event is made possible with support from 614 Beautiful, Neighborhood Design Center, Ohio Arts Council, GCAC, Compton Construction, and Crawford Hoying.

About the venue Set amid shops and eateries in the vibrant Short North Arts District, this contemporary hotel is an 8-minute walk from the Greater Columbus Convention Center.
