Sarah Gormley Gallery presents Rest…and Motion, which includes photography from local artist Jana Pryor and NYC-based Shammara McKay, both of whom have previously exhibited at SGG. The pandemic has forced all of us to be still, quieter than normal, to go inside ourselves. At the same time, we’ve had to be resilient, to press on… to just keep going. Their photography brings this duality to life – a show that yes, is comprised of images from both Ohio and New York, but more importantly captures that need to be still and the need to keep moving in all of us, especially this past year.
