“The Masks We Wear” Exhibit at (Not) Sheep Gallery

12:00 pm - 4:00 pm

The Masks We Wear is a group show featuring all gallery artists and visiting artist Christine Kosiba.  The work will focus on the ways we present ourselves to the world, identity issues, mental illness and racism.  The title is self-evident, in that we all hide parts of ourselves from the world, we all have a “corporate face” and a “casual face”, we all have ways that we talk and present ourselves in different social situations, and in the case of race, there are “acceptable” ways of talking, dressing, etc.  The artists explore these issues in various ways.
