ABOUT THE EVENT Join Prologue Bookshop for an evening with William Burtch in conversation with Eric Gnezda! We’re excited to welcome William Burtch in celebration of his latest short story collection, Otherwise Wretched.
William Burtch is an author and writer of fiction and essays. His award-winning creative work spans magazine, journal and anthology publications . His new short story collection, “Otherwise Wretched”, will be released March 4, 2025 by Catamount Press, an imprint of Sunbury Press. Kirkus Reviews calls the Collection “…gruesomely saturnine and comic…sharply limns the bleaker aspects of rural life.”
Eric Gnezda is an award-winning singer-songwriter and the creator and host of Songs at the Center, a TV series that airs on over 400 PBS stations across the U.S. He pens and performs a wide range of songs, both serious and humorous – from inspirational anthems and love songs that touch the heart and soul to country tearjerkers and comedic/satirical numbers. Gnezda accompanies himself on piano.
