Sean Christopher Gallery Ohio is celebrating its 13th anniversary this month in the Short North Arts District with the annual Concentration 7: An Annual Portfolio Selection from Fort Hayes Arts and Academic High School.

 

 

 

 

Sherrie Gallerie

This month Sherrie Gallerie will be featuring a selection of works from a recent exhibition at Art Palm Beach, an international contemporary art fair in Florida. Work on view will include colorful abstract painting and sculpture from artist Russ Vogt, the figurative ceramic sculpture of Calvin Ma, and the blown and carved Italian glass work of Mattia and Marco Salvadore.

 

 

 

Brandt-Roberts Galleries

In addition to outstanding new works by artists, including Kendric Tonn, Jason Morgan, and Bernard Palchick, Brandt-Roberts Galleries will be presenting several new historic acquisitions. These paintings, ranging in date from 1945 to 1965, add to the modernist and impressionist pieces out of Scandinavia.

For March, Studios on High Gallery will be premiering their Hit the Hop Show. Hit the Hop will occur two times each year with themes changing for each juried show. With the wealth of area talent, art schools and guilds, HTH will provide a unique showcase for Central Ohio artists to be featured in Columbus’ Short North Arts district. Hosting a new collection of paintings, alongside watercolorist Cody Heichel at Marcia Evans Gallery, Sharon Weiss premiers local artist Michael Guinane focused on sights and experiences from his most recent travels and scenes from urban Columbus.

This March, Marcia Evans Gallery will be featuring Cody Heichel. Cody has won several awards recently including the People’s Choice Award at Art for Life. His work is included in A Century of Watercolor, an exhibit at the Riffe Gallery showcasing more than 45 Ohio based watercolor artists. Cody is both a signature and associate member of the American Watercolor Society. Cody’s show is in conjunction with painter Michael Guinane, who will be showing this March at Sharon Weiss Gallery.

 

 

ROY G BIV Gallery

ROY G BIV Gallery presents the work of Joseph Lupo and Nick Fagan. The exhibition will run from March 7-28, with an artists’ talk on Saturday, March 28 at 2:30pm.
