Brandt-Roberts Galleries | 642 N High St.

Brandt-Roberts Galleries will showcase a small feature of work from the NYC-based African-American colorist and painter Nikki Terry. A recent graduate of Pratt Institute’s MFA Painting Program, Terry’s abstracted, minimalist paintings are expressions of reimagined narratives of old stories that have rested in darkness that she is now bringing to light. The surfaces of her work, in particular, are inspired by her own personal history while simultaneously being visceral responses to the dark histories of so many silenced Black women

Brandt-Roberts Galleries’ March Gallery Hop hours are 1-7 p.m.
