NOVEMBER GALLERY EXHIBITIONS
Adamah Ceramics | 641 N. High St.
This November, Adamah Ceramics will feature Ceramic Artist Judi Tavill and her entanglement series. Tavill’s abstract sculptures reference our interconnectedness in the face of division. She invites contemplation and reflection when viewing her practice. Neil Donovan and Thomas Hubert will also have a collaborative show that combines ceramic and wood. Light refreshments will be provided.
Exhibition Dates: November 2 – November 30, 2024
Gallery Hop Hours: 4 p.m. – 8 p.m.
Marcia Evans Gallery | 8 E. Lincoln St.
Kirsten Bowen’s amazing Text-Based Fresco paintings are totally unique in that they express poetry and quotes into what appears to be the background of landscapes, seascapes, and sometimes florals created in her studio in New York.
Sean Christopher Gallery Ohio | 815 N. High St. Ste. H
The Sean Christopher Gallery will feature Ohio-based artist Seth Wade in a solo exhibition titled “Between Sleep and Birdsong.” Wade’s work uses Surrealist foundations like automatism and dream content. He makes drawings and paintings that he couldn’t possibly have planned for. Layering improvisations upon improvisations, the subject of each piece slowly presents itself, resulting in a carefully rendered image that often points to Wade’s concerns and insecurities.
Exhibition Dates: November 2 – November 30, 2024
Gallery Hop Hours: 4 p.m. – 9 p.m.
Sharon Weiss Gallery | 20 E Lincoln St.
This month, Sharon Weiss Gallery presents “New Works” by Fred Fochtman. As a painter, he is interested in working strictly from observation. Fred focuses his process on the measured arrangement of simplified shape and color within a composition. The subject matter that he seeks out is often unremarkable in the context of being picturesque but still contains the essential qualities that are important to his process.
Exhibition Dates: November 1 – November 30, 2024
Gallery Hop Hours: 6 p.m. – 8 p.m.
The Little Blue House by Sharon Weiss Gallery | 24 E Lincoln St.
