OCTOBER EXHIBITIONS IN THE SHORT NORTH ARTS DISTRICT
Gallery Hop in the Short North Arts District is back again on Oct. 7, from 4 to 8 p.m.
For over 35 years, Gallery Hop has taken over High St., filling the district with new art exhibitions, local artists, performers, vendors and more. This month, art lovers are invited to take a self-guided tour of local galleries, featuring new artworks on display, as well as explore local boutiques and public art throughout the Short North Arts District.

OCTOBER GALLERY EXHIBITIONS

Attendees of October Gallery Hop may still view the second annual Trans and Non-binary Art Showcase at 83 Gallery, featuring over 160 pieces of art from 42 trans, non-binary and ally artists from all over Ohio.

Brandt-Roberts Galleries | 642 N High St.
Brandt-Roberts Galleries is delighted to present “To the Skies I’ve Yet to See,” a solo exhibition by Andrea Myers, a multidisciplinary artist whose works explore the world of textiles, installation and sculpture. This exhibition focuses on the movement of fabrics, revealing a lively dynamic between color and formation.

Columbus Museum of Art at the Pizzuti | 632 Park St.
The Columbus Museum of Art is proud to present “In All Directions” by Sarah Rosalena during the October Gallery Hop. Rosalena’s artworks fuse the materiality of traditional and indigenous craft techniques with emerging technologies to produce objects that break boundaries imposed by colonization.

Stop by Marcia Evans Gallery during the October Gallery Hop to witness artist Veena Bansal’s solo exhibition titled “Florals and Landscapes.”

Sean Christopher Gallery Ohio | 815 N. High St. Ste. H
Join Columbus/Brooklyn, New York-based interdisciplinary artist Emily Strange for her solo exhibition, titled “Don’t Call It a Comeback,” at Sean Christopher Gallery. Inspired by personal experience, Strange’s artworks chronicle the struggles of drug addiction.

Sharon Weiss Gallery | 20 E Lincoln St.
Stop by Sharon Weiss Gallery during the October Gallery Hop to see a special two-person show titled “Heroic Women” featuring the work of Barbara Vogel and Marge Bender. The exhibition will be on display through Oct. 29.

The Little Blue House by Sharon Weiss Gallery | 24 E Lincoln St.
24 Lincoln Art Studios, located in The Little Blue House by Sharon Weiss Gallery, is dedicated to elevating professional women painters in the Central Ohio art community. New work is installed monthly in the foyer gallery and houses four working studios and two galleries.

Studios On High Gallery | 686 N. High St.
During the October Gallery Hop, Studios on High Gallery will feature artist Beth Himsworth in the exhibition titled “Fused.” In this show, Himsworth explores the painterly qualities of fused glass creating both abstract and representational panels highlighting the natural world.

Summer Spray Exhibition | 1201 N. High St.
For the October Gallery Hop, artist Ariel Pequero will be showcasing the final exhibition of the Summer Spray series at 1101 N. High St. at the former Revolution Cycles.

Pursuit | 937 N. High St.
Stop by during the October Gallery Hop for a performance by artists blucone and Ebri Yahloe as a part of the “In Pursuit” Concert Series. The show begins at 7 p.m. and is free to the public.
