SEPTEMBER EXHIBITIONS IN THE SHORT NORTH ARTS DISTRICT
Gallery Hop in the Short North Arts District is back again on Saturday, September 2, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
For over 35 years, Gallery Hop has taken over High St., filling the district with new art exhibitions, local artists, performers, vendors, and more. This month, art lovers are invited to take a self-guided tour of local galleries, featuring new artworks on display, as well as explore local boutiques and public art throughout the Short North Arts District.

SEPTEMBER GALLERY EXHIBITIONS

During September Gallery Hop, 83 Gallery presents their second annual Trans and non-binary Art Showcase! This year’s show features over 160 pieces of art from 42 trans, non-binary, and ally artists from all over Ohio.

Brandt-Roberts Galleries | 642 N High St.
Brandt-Roberts Galleries is delighted to present “In The Trees The Night Wind Stirs”. This solo exhibition by acclaimed Columbus-based artist, Christopher Burk, is composed of over twenty works, including large and small-scale pieces in oil and gouache on paper. This new series hails from Burk’s artist residency in Dresden, Germany last autumn.

At the September Gallery Hop, Marcia Evans Gallery features Scott Hunter’s fourth solo show titled “Variations”. This will also be his first show to feature not only his dynamic abstracts, but also his unique figurative paintings.

The Little Blue House by Sharon Weiss Gallery | 24 E Lincoln St.
uring the September Gallery Hop, The Little Blue House by Sharon Weiss Gallery will show the exhibition titled “From Colorado To Ohio With Love”, featuring the impressionistic works of Amy Adams and her father Timothy Brenner. Two generations of artists come together in this special exhibition to celebrate their shared love of painting and showcase their recent work. Amy Adams is an oil painter working in the Short North and Timothy Brenner is a watercolor painter living in Denver, Colorado. 24

During the September Gallery Hop, Studios on High Gallery will feature the exhibition titled “Worn”. This show is a visual exploration of the many meanings of the word, “worn.” Jewelry artist and metalsmith Carole Bucklew reflects on the choices we make in adorning ourselves… aesthetic, sentimental. emotional. “Worn” is used to talk about the jewelry we choose as an expression of who we are and often, as a repository of memories.
