Summer Spray is a collaborative mural-making event that will showcase the live creation of a dynamic 1,300-square-foot mural wall over the span of the summer.

About the Artist
“Briseus “WXVVY” Smith is an abstract artist born and raised in Columbus he’s worked with several of the amazing galleries of Columbus including but not limited to Wild Goose Creative 934 Gallery, 83 Gallery, and HalfBaked with aspirations for appearing in Hammond Harkins Gallery, and Brandt Gallery.
Briseus’ work is inspired by his love for the energy that comes from his inspirations such as Pro wrestling, early 2000s skate tapes, and Hip-Hop. For Briseus, art is like an explosion bringing together his inspirations for what is known as the “Pastel Nightmare.” The bright colors used collide like a burning hammer against the bold, black contrast often stopping them in their place setting up the vivid, yet unknown world.
The artist has a can’t tell me nothing attitude when it comes to creating art, stating “There is no preconceived notions on my style so nobody can tell me what to do” that’s what art feels like to Briseus: the ultimate freedom art being one of the only things in life in one’s control. You should create how ever you want it’s apart of you because nobody can tell you how to be you.
