The Short North Alliance and 19 partner galleries and art institutions, with the support of the the Greater Columbus Arts Council and the Short North Foundation, have launched the third rendition of the highly popular Short North Temporary Mural Series. The exhibition, titled BLANK SPACES, was installed on September 10, 2015, in the Short North Arts District.The murals are installed on the exterior brick facades of 19 buildings along High Street.
On Sunday, September 27, participating galleries and organizations will hold the BLANK SPACES Sunday Stroll. The event features meet and greet receptions with BLANK SPACES artists at galleries in the Short North Arts District, and guided tours of the murals:
- 1:00-2:00pm, meet at 459 N High Street (murals on west side of High)
- 2:30-3:30pm, meet at 1288 N High Street (murals on east side of High)
A special announcement regarding a new public art partnership between the Columbus Young Professionals Club and the Short North Alliance will also take place at 3:30pm in front of the Short North White Castle at 965 N High Street.
