Over a dozen restaurants in the Short North Arts District are partnering with Children’s Hunger Alliance for Short North Give Days. From February 20-27, diners at participating Short North Arts District restaurants will receive 5% off their food bill when they make a text donation to Children’s Hunger Alliance. Customers can simply Text FOOD4KIDS to 74121, make a donation, and show their donation receipt to receive 5% off their food bill* from February 20-27 at participating restaurants.

In Ohio, over 529,000 children – or more than 1 in 5 children – live in food insecure households and struggle with hunger. Studies have shown that children who suffer from food insecurity are more inclined to have developmental delays, lag behind in school, and have long-term health issues. For the past 49 years, Children’s Hunger Alliance’s purpose is to ensure that Ohio’s at-risk children receive the healthy meals and nutrition education needed to learn, grow and thrive.
