BETWEEN THE WALLS | 1160 N HIGH ST.
works by elizabeth hope
“I’ve been an artist ever since I was a little kid. Art was always my favorite subject in elementary and high school.
It’s always been easier for me to use pen and paper or paintbrush and canvas to express myself, but it wasn’t until my mom passed away in 2014 that I took the leap from my office cubicle to pursue life on my terms. Art enables me to say what words can’t, and my art is an extension of myself, while the process itself is an exploration of my thoughts and feeling, a form of therapy and catharsis.” – Elizabeth Hope (Artist’s Statement)
Exhibition dates January 3 – February 14
Gallery Hop hours 9am – 4pm

MARCIA EVANS GALLERY | 8 E LINCOLN ST.
works by scott hunter
Scott Hunter’s work moves between intuition and intention, using color, gesture, and layered forms to give shape feeling. Each piece unfolds through process and chance, holding traces of movement, pause, and change. Rather than telling a story, the work creates a space for reflection – where emotion lingers and meaning remains open.

STUDIOS ON HIGH GALLERY | 686 N HIGH ST.
monochrome
Studios On High Gallery member artists are challenged to explore the artistic tradition of monochrome – the use of one hue and the examination of its range of brilliancy, temperature, and degrees of light and dark. A single color can hold the power to evoke mood, meaning, and inspiration. Throughout time, artists have turned to monochrome to challenge art world norms, reflect on personal events, and question societal changes.
