works by kaito mccarthy

Artist Kaito McCarthy, this collection uses birds as mirrors of identity, freedom, and transformation. Each image explores the tension between how we move through the world and how we are seen, using feathers, flight, and reflection as metaphors for visibility, vulnerability, and resilience. Birds carry the quiet weight of selfhood, of longing and becoming, and through them, I explore the spaces where imagination, memory, and identity converge, tracing the courage it takes to exist fully and authentically.

works by scott hunter

Celebrating 20 years this Gallery Hop with the continuation of Scott Hunter’s exhibition and a live artist talk. Hunter’s work moves between intuition and intention, using color, gesture, and layered forms to give shape feeling. Each piece unfolds through process and chance, holding traces of movement, pause, and change. Rather than telling a story, the work creates a space for reflection – where emotion lingers and meaning remains open.

works by rodger williams

Rodger Williams says this about his work: “As a printmaker I have always been fascinated by the relationship between ink and paper. Different inks and different papers render different results – some nice and crisp while others are soft and undefined. Now, applying ink to paper with a brush, the surface of handmade watercolor paper such as Arches allows me to control of the edge of shapes and the blending of transparent inks in layers.”

the gathered

The Gathered is a 625 sq ft tile mosaic by North Carolina-based artist Andrew Hendrixson. The mosaic, composed of an undulating rhythm of nearly 400,000 12 mm bespoke glass tiles, reminds viewers of the individual small pieces that comprise the whole, a metaphor for community. It is installed on the east-facing wall of the Parkside on Pearl building, facing Italian Village Park.
