The Short North Arts District May Gallery Hop will again be held virtually via Instagram! On Saturday, May 2 at 2:00pm, viewers can tune in to “Columbus’ favorite night of the month to celebrate art” by following  @ShortNorthArtsDistrict on Instagram or via the Short North Arts District Facebook Page to see new artwork for sale, demos, and behind-the-scenes looks from galleries and artists; new spring products, promotions, try-ons, cooking demonstrations from local businesses; and performances including Pursuit‘s “In Pursuit Virtual House Concert Festival” featuring local musicians.

Viewers can expect to see work from Lindsay Gallery’s new show Random Acts of Art, featuring one piece each from a group of the gallery’s artists; new paintings and a behind-the-scenes in-process video from Sherrie Gallerie artist Michael Blaiser; and Sean Christopher Gallery Ohio’s new show Old School 3: Annual Group Exhibition of Works by Select 1970s and 1980s Alumni of the Columbus College of Art & Design.

Artwork will also be featured from Hammond Harkins Galleries artists Linda Gall, Karen Snouffer, and Andrea Myers; Marcia Evans Gallery artist Annette Poitau; Sarah Gormley Gallery artists James Young, Fiona Miller, Katie White; Sharon Weiss Gallery artists Amy Adams, Jim Murrin, Karen LaValley, Lisa Godfrey, Michael Guinane, and Ruth Gless; Studios on High Gallery artist Tracy Greenwalt; Brandt-Roberts Galleries; Found at Sharon Weiss Gallery; Lincoln Street Studios; (Not) Sheep Gallery; Pizzuti Collection of the Columbus Museum of Art; and the Wexner Center for the Arts.
